Why have that beautiful river if fishing for other fish is pointless? The reason this is counter intuitive is because if you aren't paying to get larger nets and all that other jazz, there is no reason to fish for any other fish in North Carolina and in my eyes, that's not really intuitive at all.

Trophy Redear Sunfish are the single most effective way to level until you get to 16 and can move onto Florida. My problem isn't with the unique Redear sunfish, my problem lies with the trophies that come along with the Uniques. I COMPLETELY understand that you need to have a method to obtain gold, because earning gold can become somewhat of a challenge in this game unless you land that special unique fish, earn an achievement that gives gold or a level up (which stops) at some point. Now, the progression of leveling is great right up until you can buy crawfish cut at whatever level and start to fish for redear sunfish. Finally there is a game that simulates fishing like no other game I've encountered before. I've been fishing my entire life and I also spend a lot of time playing video games. So, I'm absolutely thrilled with this game as an avid fisherman IRL.
